Peanut Butter Blossoms

I had Hershey kisses left over and what is easier to bake than Peanut Butter Blossoms? So easy! My 14-year old daughter loves to bake these. They are simply perfect - soft, chewy, comforting and with the added touch of a Hershey kiss.

I have always used the same recipe from Hershey .

I recommend you double this recipe.... the cookies never last long in my house!

Chocolate Pudding

This is a family favourite at my house. As soon as the weather starts to turn colder, I try to surprise the family with it but they recognize the gorgeous smell as it bakes.  This chocolate cake is warm, moist, with hot chocolate sauce... perfect with cream or rich vanilla ice cream.

Ricardo recipe is easy to follow and worth a try... you will make it over and over again!

Sinful really.... but so delicious!

Banana Muffins

My kids usually do not eat muffins as their 'breakfast' but they do enjoy it returning from school or as a late-night snack when they are studying. I always keep an eye on those bananas and the ones who will be left behind because they have become too ripe. That's my cue to make muffins! I sometimes make a big batch and freeze half of them. These are soft and cake-like!

Banana Muffins:

Butter to grease the muffins pans
A tiny bit of flour for the muffins pans (or use muffins liners)

1 stick of soft butter
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar

1 1/2 cup of all-purpose flor
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mashed banana
1/2 cup sour cream

* 1/2 cup of walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Bake at 350 F for 40 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean from the muffins.
