Every Canada Day, I make a Strawberry Shortcake. It is not the only time I make this cake as it is my husband's favourite. I remember once winning a baking contest at London Business School after entering with this cake. It is light and yet so satisfying!
I used to bake a simple white cake and cover with whip cream and strawberries. Now I make Ricardo's recipe for this cake and it is the ultimate!
